I updated my sitemap with the new URL’s and deleted the old pages from it as well.
The problem is my site has been crawled twice and my new pages are not showing up anywhere.
My main index page is still there, and thankfully ranking well, however I am at a loss as to what to do here.
Any ideas?

Should this be used for your Sitemap? Is that good practice?
And how about this one?
If you do this, does that avoid reciprocal linking and count as an inbound link since the bots don’t follow the links back?
Any information would help. I know what these tags do, but I am just not sure when to use them.
