How can I promote my book to the Star Trek community?

I was the Assistant Director on all of Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise, and I have written a book called “Poetry and Prose from the Director’s Ass.” Though potery, it is primarily humor. Do you think the Indiana Jones movies suffer the opposite of the Star Trek movie curse?

The Trek curse being that the even numbered movies are better than the odd, whilst with Indy it seems the odd movies are better than the even (haven’t read a glowing review of the Crystal Skull yet… plus it shares with the second movie a crappy artifact.)

What is a good episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation to watch with someone who has never seen the show?

Anything from the first season is out, as it’s far too cheesy (in my opinion)

The person I am introducing Star Trek to enjoys shows like Law & Order: SVU and even a soap opera.

I’m looking for an episode of Star Trek that is easy enough to understand (no crazy time traveling, or parallel universes), and does a good job of encapsulating the essence of the show.
