does not loose power or anything but the check engine light flashes until its out of passing gear.
It does not have plug wires. I have the coil packs on each plug.which are new. thanx anyways.

Lifter noise on Dodge Intrepid?

I am car shopping and i saw an ad for a 2002 dodge intrepid going for 1900. Sounds like a good deal but the only comments made on it was “runs good but has a lifter noise” What exactly is a lifter noise? Can it be easily fixed? Is it even worth buying?

Check engine code p1391 on ‘99 dodge intrepid?

My check engine light comes on and goes off randomly. I got the code checked when it was on and it gave me p1391. while the light i on the car loses power and stalls when i come to a stop. it starts back up but doesnt want to keep running. the code has to do with the cmp sensor and the timeing chain or belts. i was wondering if there is an easy way to determine what the problem is. is there an easy fix to this problem.

”LOL” I’m totally serious, it sounds like pooty and It’s been doing it ever since I had a performance exhaust system installed on it. So is this normal?
oh.. and if it helps. It’s a 2001 with a rebuilt and modified 2.7 motor with about 22,000 miles on it, and 137,000 on the rest of the car.
